Am I IP banned?

I am currently having issues connecting to Project 1999 and the Project 1999 website. I have only been able to play for about five minutes before I went linkdead, and after that, this website would not load while others would. If I'm banned, I would like to plead my case.

When I created my account, I entered the wrong phone number for SMS verification. As I tried to undo this mistake, I was informed that I had to wait until the verification expires. Instead, I tried to simply make a new account. Then, I was told that my ip was matched with an unverified phone number, so I still had to wait. Being impatient as I am, I decided to use a VPN in order to skip the SMS verification and create my game account.

Now I can't log into Project 1999 or even access the forum page on my home network. I understand that my actions were suspicious, but I have no intent to cause trouble within this game. I simply wanted to play it. If there is anything I can do to resolve this issue, please let me know.
