Game Mechanics: Plane of Growth Click in tree not working?

I have been into PoG once, But over the course of the last week or so I have tried numerous times to zone into plane of growth to go finish my druids glove quest. Nothing works, relogging, switching EQ folders. If I stand out of range of the click in tree- i get the "too far away get closer" message, when I am in range nothing happens I just click like its nothing.

I tried clicking every single spot up and down, I tried a different computer using a different installation of everquest even. Short of having a GM port my character in there, is anyone else having this issue or just me? I haven't seen anyone on red enter PoG, mostly because no one goes in there so its hard to get any feedback.

Went in there 3 times when I was casual scum never had any problems, maybe you're clicking the wrong thing, you click the brain

There used to be an issue for some people with clicking the "ashtrays" that port you between islands in sky. Some of these people reported having success by angling their camera down until the object was in the upper 1/4 of the screen and clicking there. Maybe try something like that?

Check to make sure you actually have the plane of growth zone files. I had to go find a full install because my eqlite had gutted unnecessary files and it had determined PoG could be deleted.

Yeah I know eqlite trims pog out, I used another installation of a full install and it didn't work as well as a third installion on a second computer. Finally just had someone log my druid in and finish the turn in. At least I dont have to worry about going to PoGrowth for a few months now
