Monk Ability Kick - Does it interrupt spells like it used to?

Hasn't so far for me. The mobs just keep right on casting.

In WoW there was a rogue ability to kick and interrupt a spell.
In EQ, bash can interrupt a spell. Also, all melee dmg has a chance to interrupt spellcasting, so a monk's kick would contribute to that, but doesn't work the way bash does.

On a successful hit Bash interrupts every single time.

Flying kick interrupts spells very often.

"kick" has a smaller chance than all of the above.
