Characters locked in down zones

Coming up on 24 hours of being locked in Velks Lab on red. Zoned in, immediately DC'd, now DC everytime I try to load the character. There were a whole slew of people complaining in OOC, I know several of us have posted about it.

Is there something we need to do? Is it a file thing? Is it a server side thing? Is there any word at all from the higher ups?

I know the same thing happened with Hate a few days ago, so not sure whats going on. Any official word would be appreciated.
