Default SK Discipline: Leechcurse not working

For whatever reason, the last ~month~ Leechcurse hasn't been working. I've been trying to figure out the cause of the change. Another SK in my guild has said his sometimes doesn't work, but mine has had 0% uptime.

Discipline cooldown goes down, when I connect with melee attacks, no lifetaps happen, and no resists (if it even would show a resist message).

I've tried:
Full hp and not full HP
Full buffs and empty buffs
Velious content and non-Velious content
Low level mobs, debuffed mobs

Honestly would rather have Defense cap fixed but anyone else been having a similar issue?

Leechcurse has always been kinda weird in my experience

You randomly get heal messages for melee hits, but then other hits dont give the heal message

I know I used mine this weekend and it was working, but not sure if it was healing on all hits as it was a pretty hectic situation

On my PC, at least, Leechcurse gives a heal message when a hit is for 100 or more. Hits under 100 give no message but still heal. I don't think I've used the discipline during the past couple weeks that the original poster reports it not working, so I can't confirm or refute that comment.

This makes sense

I was looking through my logs and saw some random heals in the 100-150 range and wasnt sure if it was leechcurse or not as there wasn't many of them

i am pretty sure there is some kind of minimum heal required in order to get the message from some effects / abilities

iirc this scales with level

if it didn't people would get a warning each tick on regen, my troll shm doesnt at 60ish / tick
