Default parts of letters missing plz help

i am using windows vista i have got into the game bu their are parts of all my letters missing on all of my text not the names above everyone's head just text on spells, scrolls, and chat

Are you playing in windowed mode at native resolution?

I am playing in widowed mode i believe and i reset resolution to 800 600 i do not know how to get out of windowed mode

change your font by in the options menu.

if you're using window mode at your monitors default resolution you will lose some vertical pixels due to the stupid window bar at the top - change to a resolution that is smaller than your native monitor resolution
