Default Think of switching from red to blue

So... I started playing p99 for a few months back in late 2014 I think. I made a necro (my one and only char besides for a lvl 1 alt I've played once) and I leveled him to 52. I played for 2-3 months and kinda ran out of things to do, lost direction, whatever you want to call it. Quit for a few months and just recently came back after velious release and leveled to 54.
Things I've noticed since velious-
The small population is incredibly spread out... it's nothing to pass through tons of empty zones and never see another person
Very little pvp besides for people waiting for you to pull a mob and killing you or making you get an xp death... basically just cheap shotting or griefing you.
1 guild with most of the servers pop in it (which I'm happily apart of, love those guys) but it doesn't make for much diversity.
...
The things I do love though-
Don't have to wait on camps
Global ooc chat
Uhm...
The feeling when I DO actually see someone else of wondering whether or not we are going to duke it out
And the grp xp bonus is pretty sweet

So, I know why people go from blue to red. Apparently the end game scene of there Is really jacked up and people are getting text messages at like 4am to come kill a dragon or some crap and you can have to wait on camps but I'm no raider so I wouldnt care and you can always find another camp to xp at
I know I should just give it a shot but I don't want to waste my limited playtime on something that may be pointless
So, what do you guys think? Anyone have experience on both servers and care to share your thoughts?
