buying a black female doll to introduce your little girl to diversity cannot be an inherently racist act in this white man's world. Buying a white doll specifically because the girl is white, however, WOULD be racist.

No. racism= treating an individual differently based on their ethnic background, racist.

Buying a white doll for a white kid isn't racist, it's giving them something they can relate to. Thats why more often than not, people of a given race will tend to associate with others of that race more frequently. Cultural and moral differences, you see.
