Quest Issue: FV Faction with Canines

So we have a Troll SK that is working on his FV faction. We used a Tree Illusion stick to turn in the teeth and everything worked fine. We had 8 stacks of teeth. He went from app to amibly in tree form. When he took off illusion he went back to KoS. Is that right? Does the faction only work towards him being a tree. I would think it would work even if he isnt a tree.

You get a temporary+bonus from illusion and permanent+ from quest. To go from scowling to threatening can require a huge amount of faction points, while the jump to other ones isn't as big.

Faster method. Get an aoe class and a weapon with an aoe proc (unless SKs have a low lvl aoe?). Then pull 30 to 40 goblins in WW and aoe kill them for faction. Respawn is 6 minutes. Can also get drops from Grachnist while doing it as an added bonus.

We did goblins in WW for about 6 hours one night hoping to get his faction up. Troll SK are just hated a lot lol.
