Coming to 1999 for the first time..

Hey guys.

For some unknown reason I've decided to fire up classic EQ and give it a go. It's a strange thought as I probably stopped playing in 2002 or so and basically haven't touched anything like it since.

A few questions;

Is the server populated enough at low levels where I can find groups easy enough? I'm in Australia which probably doesn't help matters much...

If not, what classes would you recommend for soloing? I was a monk and a bard back in the day. How would these guys do now?

Any advice on starting out? I always remember the most difficult thing about EQ was getting started, once you got into the late teens/20's it all became a bit more simple.
