Hello all. I'm sure many people know of this tool, but I know a lot of people do not. Many people who played EQLive for years didn't know til I told them about it. Many told me they wished they had known about it years ago.
In a text box type '/note' and a blank notepad type screen appears. Whatever you type in stays in until you delete it; there is no 'Save' required. It is really great for putting information you want to be able to reference quickly. The file it uses is in the main EQ directory and is called 'notes.txt'. You can edit it with Notepad to put in, say, steps for a quest. When you want to view it, just type /note. Just wanted to let everyone know about it. Enjoy! | ||

It's great, I use it to keep track of people in queue to join my group.

And it is one file that can be read by all your characters. Even on seperate accounts if they share the same main directory.

Saves paper and therefore saves trees. Environmentalism, EQ-style!
Also saves me from having to read my own writing.
