EQGame.exe
" Eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Options: Debug or Close .
I was playing earlier fine and then logged out to takeout the velious ui I downloaded from this site. Then since then I tried to log back in and keep getting this error. Any help or anyone know the problem? | ||

I get this sometimes too. I have no idea what causes it because it's completely random and completely annoying.
Do you also get the one that says "Reset Device Failed"? This only happens when I Alt+Enter. Wonder if they are related?? Someone told me it could be because I was running something else in the background that was taking up more whateveritscalled and caused EQ to crash, but the only other thing I usually have up is an internet browser...?

my brother actually posted that for me JWong . Yeah I got the emulator up today and it was running fine about 1 hour or so after I logged out i went to login and bam it happened. I have tried to repair and redo the whole thing but still getting the same problem. Nothing running in the background. I havent gotten the reset device has failed yet. but yeah alt + enter was crashing me earlier also until I figured gotta make it full sized window before I login. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well it seems as if the problem was fixxed by deleting my Everquest "non Emulator" file and reloading the cd's and stuff. Since I prefer the way EQ used to be, I would much rather build a character up with my brother. I wish I knew about P1999 when it first came out! This is awsome.
But now... I go to load the game login, and no servers listed >< | ||

The eqgame error usually means the client is trying to run an unsupported resolution, edit the eqclient.ini and make sure it's a supported resolution (search for mgellan eqclient.ini for more info)
As for reset failed, it's a client issue I've gotten once in a while even on Live, suspect it s a client bug (i.e. not fixable) Regards, Mg

Reset the UI to 800x600 and see if that works. Or hit default then reset. Once in game it wont matter you can change it. Might be stuck with 800x600 resolution for the login/select server screen.
