Default Spiroc faction in TD

Gonna annoy some kiters here...

But Spirocs are supposed to have a faction of their own. If you kill them, you lose faction.

Most people start out dubious and it only takes a few kills to become kos.

Correct and and the faction is called "Spirocs of Timorous". We will need some proof as to where the faction begins though. I kited these a lot on Al'kabor, but I cannot recall where I started.

I don't recall if I ever killed these on Al'Kabor so I doubt I have logs, but double check yours if you've got them Telin.

A lot of creatures had "hidden" factions. Which they were on the faction, and you could modify the faction with faction spells/illusions and race/class/deity factor in. However killing the creatures didn't lower the faction. Some examples:

Unrest - Unrest Inhabitants
Velketors - Velketor (Only Velk/Lord Bob lower it but everything else is on the faction)
Cobalt Scar - Claws of Veeshan (Wyverns are on the faction but didn't yield faction hits)

Etc.

I'd like some evidence about this. The only comments in that allakhazam post are about the link with PoSky Spiroc faction.

Currently at work. I do remember becoming kos eventually. As a Druid I started as either dubious or apprehensive. The bug thread about timorous deep from 2011 had three fresh characters on alkabor con dubious to them.

Here is a screenshot that appears classic providing evidence that the faction is lowered upon death:

Good enough for me! Confirmed classic then!

I can run a toon out on live and see if they have different faction hit values maybe.

Added actual faction hits, pending update.

Exact values, if found, will be added when reported.

Okay, it's a done deal FYI. I don't know if I'm late on this, but just noticed today. Spirocs in TD are giving faction now so beware.
