![]() We are planning to join project 1999 on Saturday Evening (European Time) with a bunch of old players from The Rathe-server.
We will be playing from a LAN-café in Antwerp and it's operating under a fixed IP. I have noticed that there are rules for dual-comping and I am afraid that the server will think we are all on the same PC. Any advice on this ? Or will the fixed IP not be an issue ?

![]() Sounds like it will be an issue. They don't care about it being on different PCs, if you are all on the same router you will get flagged pretty quick and investigated. You will need to get an exemption which takes some time to process.

![]() I filed for an exemption. Hopefully they can clear it reasonably fast. Otherwise we will have to find an alternative for Saturday.
For those interested, here is the post on our website. It's a regular event called the founders' night, we are hosting every two or three months. Outpost Founders' Night

![]() You each will have to create an account, create a character on your account, and then submit a petition under the petition forums with the account names, character names, and IRL names. They will then apply exemptions on the accounts so that they can be online from the same network.

![]() The only problem is: people will make their characters on the spot, as we will all start at level 1. If they have to wait a couple of hours before their respective IP exemptions get regulated, our event will be half over.
I have filed for a general IP exemption for the event weekend. Hopefully this is an option, otherwise we will have to check out alternatives.

![]() If it doesn't come about, you can still all start on PEQ or some of the other non-P99 EQ emulator servers.
