Default Sick of leveling in Oasis? I've got the place for you...

Head to the Watering Hole in OT.

This used to be the place to go on my live server (Torv) back in the day. If Oasis was packed, you could take the raft at the docks to Overthere and level up at the watering hole at the Northeast corner of the zone.

There is even a handy NPC merchant (Klok) and tons of mobs to kill. It kinda saddens me this area is basically dead on this server, so thought I should spread the word and let you guys know this is a great place to level up from 15-20.

Better yet, once you're done you can head to LOIO and get 21-27 easily.

If you are a goody then killing swampwater crocs near the ancient croc spawn in upper guk is pretty good solo up to 20. If you are able to kill all the crocs the heart spiders between scryer and deadline are normally available to add to your rotation.

This was the case for Luclin during Kunark as well. You wont find it here though because of 1) bards kiting and 2) people not wanting to deal with bards.

The long and short of it is that people don't want a classic EQ experience on p99. They want classic mechanics and to be able to exploit them.

Most bards who are leveling there solo (i.e. not high level PL bards) leave the rhinos and cats alone though. Plenty of those around there.

you can deal with the low level bards there by asking a druid to charm a chicken or 2 and sow them
