Dunno, rogue pet is great for groups. Soloing? not much use.

Rogue pet you're doing max 56 damage per hit, with the occasional ~140 backstab.

Charm pet you're doing ~108-140 per hit, usually quadding. Charm pets regularly outclass actual rogues in group DPS, let alone your blue/green con summoned rogue pet.

If charm breaks you've got root, mez, harmshield, FD, and potentially group members to help you out. And you can lifetap to heal yourself. If you want to play it safe don't give the pet a torch so it won't dual wield and don't haste it.

There's literally no excuse for using a summoned pet over a charmed pet unless your group is keeping everything down and you're regularly waiting on respawns, in which case maybe try a smaller group or more challenging content.
