I believe, and i could be wrong it works something akin to

50% for you, +50% for every group memeber? tottaling 300% for a full group? Am I wrong?

I love it, really takes the anger out of pvp when you are trying to level up! someone brings a twink to mm? cool lets play! waste 40 minuets trying to kill it then get back to leveling, who cares! Xp is going to flow as soon as you do!

I just logged into some legit god or something server...

But ya ill get back on. Loved the xp boost because it gave me time to experience things i couldnt when i played live. Plus now with less time to spend on this game makes it even better.
