I feel like they've gone up abnormally slow on my ranger compared to my earlier 2 characters (2012-2013). I soloed her enough in Kedge to cap it, but it went very very slowly.

You can gain swimming skill by running on top of the iced over rivers in Everfrost peaks. So weird for sure [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

If you've got the spare time, head to the East Freeport docks if not kos... jump in, look up on your camera, F9 to a 3rd person camera, hold down forward + left or forward + right.... while holding those, minimize the window.

Open it up again, you should be swimming in a circle without touching anything. Read a book, go to the movies, forumquest for a bit... come back and see how you did <3

PS - not classic.

^^ This version is classic. Also, yes, swimming is slow to skill-up on p99 but the freebies from running on the ice or in shallow water (beaches in NRo/Oasis, for example) kinda make up for it.
