Default Weekly simulated repops instead of timers??

I think that weekly ground shakes for red would imitate how it was on live with constant server resets, plus would give everyone a much better experience such as increasing the likelyhood of mass pvp and forcing guilds to make decisions
p.s. This isnt rnf so dont shit up the thread

How about both? Are they really concerned about over saturating the pixel flow after year 4 of Kunark?

Thats what I was thinking...the possibility of more loot on the server would not have any negative impact considering how far we are in kunark. In my opinion use this time before velious to see if weekly sim pops work and if they show a change then keep it around for velious

I think the biggest problem is WHEN they happen. Any time there's a world shake, it's like after 10pm on a Sunday or weeknight with many people having work the next morning. Great for west coast people, but if there's a shake at like 10pm on a Monday night, I only have like another hour to play at the most, and I'm sure it's that case for a lot of people.

doesn't matter. Rogean doesn't understand the dynamic of this server, and that's why classi repops were never properly resolved.

The alternative is accepting he doesn't care.

I like to give the guy that made this project possible, the benefit of the doubt.

If we can kill 13 mobs in different zones before you can kill 1, its not Rogean's problem

It wasn't done during work day hours (not that this matters for you)

Might just wanna bow out and let Fresh rise up for a resistance people can believe in

Heck, if they stop allying with you we might stop ganking them mid dragon attempt etc

You can't plan for something that was supposed to be triggered 2 or 3 times a month and be automated, but instead is manually triggered by Rogean, and sometimes we go several months without seeing.

During these several months there's nothing but static zerg friendly spawns.

Sim repops have been the most inconsistent variable implemented and noone has developed any level of faith in it. Tons of people do not play because of this. Fast forward 4 months later a few repops are shot off, but a large portion of the resistance players have stopped giving a fuck about playing. All the resistance has to contest is for the most part the most recent batch of recruits.

Until this is automated noone will plan for it.

These last few repops because Rogean's been a bit attentive due to Velious is not representative of how Sim repops are generally triggered. It's always been 4-5 months of nothing 2 repops and see you next year.
