So, where do all the groups in 40's hunt at..

I'm trying to get some info on what zones the 40's groups are hunting in on this server. I don't hear too many CoM/Droga requests, if at all, and any info would be appreciated. Lvl 40 and onward. Thanks

City of Mist is probably still the main one.

Others where groups form if you fancy trying something else (in no particular order): Dreadlands (yeti caves, then outside KC afterwards), Lower Guk, Sol B.

Want to solo for a session instead?: Bloodgills (LOIO), Spectres (Oasis, Feerrot, OOT), Highkeep guards.

Necro, as I've solo'd basically all of my level's, with a break for 35..i'm looking to sharpen my group skills again. I know all of the solo areas already, solo'd to 70 on live back in the day.

Looking more for the group zones and where the folks are at on this server. Thanks

or

/who all (your level range)

send tells to people in your level range that are in xp zones you'd like to hit.

I find if a group is about to lose a tank or a healer they'll look through LFG, but they are pretty lazy at filling DPS slots... and generally they'll assume necromancers are busy soloing and not to be interrupted.

So yeah, get busy sending out tells, being friendly and chatting.

I suck at EQ and my characters tend to have sucky gear, but if you play for a few days on one guy people start to remember you and will invite you back if they like you.

should be doing blood gills/DL undead ruins as a necro when soloing in the 40's.

A Nerco does not get much love at all to be invited into a group until like level 50 from what I have seen. And then they are Mana Pumps and Spot healers, and Charm a pet.

Mobs just die too quick yet for any Necro Dots to be even worth casting. And their pet is pretty much a joke DPS wise so you pretty much end up a Solo class all the way. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Now when Velious comes out that will change because mob fights will last minutes not seconds like now so Dots WILL work.

And having find corpse and summon corpse will be in BIG demand then lol. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I can back that up, you need a receptive group leader who knows you're going to charm an undead mob and keep it (when they're available).

Sadly, some necros out there just want to get a Jibober out and think sending that in is enough dps with the occasional high aggro skellie nuke... without patch healing and twitching when its needed.

I had great groups in kaesora on my nec around 35. Lotta fun undead CC/charming I had to learn on the fly. Idk if its still decent xp at 40.
