issues with autoattack

My character is completely broken. when i hit auto attack/flying kick.. my character attacks 1 time and kicks 1 time, but not ever again on that mob.. i switch to another mob rinse and repeat.. tried screwing with my hotbars and tried relogging.. anyone got any ideas?

You know that auto attack is a toggle and you leave it on to continue attacking correct? Are you trying to macro the keys or anything?

Side note: What was that monk troll classic page where the kid leveled exclusively from kick and thought auto attack was hacking? I want to say it was related to Fansy the Bard or similiar

umm yes.. ive been playing EQ for almost 16 years never seen this before.. my character will attack once, kick once.. then after that everything stops working.. the mobs keep hitting me but my toon will not hit them.. nobody else is having this issue

and when other people are hitting a mob i dont see its life drop until its dead

I get an auto attack bug occasionally when im turning it on and off too fast or switching targets and turning it on too quickly. You need to toggle it off then on again. This was pretty recent and likely occurred in the last updates. Not game breaking. Just pay attention to when it happens and toggle it on and off to resolve.

it seems it may be a targetting issue.. when i hit esc and drop target. then retarget the mob.. my toon will attack once again.. but then stop until i re target it

Sounds like a dual core issue. Try setting EQ to only one core.

switch my core settings.. restarted cpu.. hasnt fixed anything
