Places to xp for a 40 shaman?

Several people in game have nudged me towards CoM because apparently it's awesome; I have very few 2000 live memories of the place. However, it's like pulling teeth to get a group till people start to log out. Is this just a poor choice for grouping? Or is 40 just too low for the majority of camps and I should head somewhere else.


Little frustrated since I really don't want to solo through 40 lol.

40s kind of a b, maybe yeties for a bit and giants in DL? then go to com. I did 45-49 with a jbb at the com moat in a day. xp is glorioius for that range there.. I think i stayed till like 52 before I got impatient and moved on to Solb where I lived to 60.

I have been told the same regarding CoM. If you can get a group, ride that until you can't possibly play any longer. But man, if you can't get a group, it's brutal. You're out in the middle of nowhere to boot. At least you're a shaman and can gate! If I run my little Paladin butt over there and nothing is open (especially in the mornings when I have some time), it is a very sad situation. [You must be logged in to view images. Been leveling a bit in Lguk, but same sorta deal. The positive being it's not totally out of the way.

if your hard as nails and an experienced player, then do 40 in kaesora. However dont try it if you have no exp of this zone, you will get your ass handed to you very fast. Also you have to take your own grp.

Com is over rated for(grp) exp, however its relatively forgiving for the clueless and incompetent in dungeons.

tbh lower guk is a similar thing......you either luv it or hate it. Personally I find the CR in there tricky if things go tits up, so I avoid it like the plague.[although pulin minos to the zoneline on live side is ok]

Bits of solA are an option, think cogs springs and the vertically challenged....

Hill giants in rathe are great cash, but not very good exp

If you don't mind a challenge, Kedge is great but breaking the zone in would be tough for a shaman.

Well you have to go to com eventually for pages of your shm epic. Might as well exp there too.

dreadlands nwall is good. lots of high lvls around who ninja buff and a good chance for a rez with all the peeps in KC getting ejacced

This guy has solid advice. Kaesora if you want to test your skills. Lower guk is also another solid zone that takes some bit of skill, and has a TON of loot, however I would point out that if you're able to make IVU potions then corpse runs aren't too bad in Guk..

Exp in multiple zones - there is no rush to 60. I spent too much time in a few zones and regret not seeing more now that I'm almost 60.
