Druid faction question

Hi guys.

I'm enjoying clearing the BB docks of all the dwarfs but am kind of afraid of ruining all of that faction. Do I need any of that dwarf/dwarf guard faction or is it safe to go hostile against them? If that faction is needed, then for what specifically?
