Default dual processor fix?

well im running on my buddies computer that has the dual processor and everything lags i got superspeed that i can barely deal with and characters glide across the zones instead of walk and when i attack the thing im attacking doesnt even show it attacking me it just deals damage to me ...what can i do to fix this pleeease help

You can also do it via a commandline in vista.

It looks something like this, fiddle with path and so on to match your own installation:

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C START "Everquest" /high /affinity 1 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

Just type it into your "run" line when you open the windows menu

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C START "Everquest" /high /affinity 1 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

The last part in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" is your path to eqgame.exe, modify it to fit your own path.
the patchme goes after that path.
First part of the line should be the same unless you fiddled with your windows install.
