Default New here and black screen issue

Hello there,

I am new here and I try to get everything working but when I start I get a black screen.
So I did and Alt tab and in windowed I can see something.
The problem is that there is not my resolution in the options when starting the config wizard.

People say to change value in eqclient.ini but there is no files named like that in my folder. So I am a bit lost.

Thanks for your help [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

To solve this problem and get the eqclient.ini move your game from program files to C:.
The user permissions allow the program to make the file inside the game folder.
Once its done you can modify it to set your own full resolution [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I too am getting the blank screen, it is my first time installing titanium and I did all the steps correctly. I run the Launch Titanium.bat and i get the everquest cursor but the screen is all black. What did you change in the eqclient.ini file to make it work?

Same problem here, its trying to do something because my mouse changes. but outisde that all I get is a black screen. Have double checked my install and the patches. Also rebooted for giggles. Big stumped here, have looked over forums and did a reinstall once.

Hoping to get this fixed cuz I have a couple of buddies that want to come play also but I am the test subject to get this running.

Well this isn't the full on fix, but I was reading in Duxa's All in One Install, it said to hit alt+enter to go to a windowed mode. that at least got me in. Didn't have anything to do with this specific issue but it got me to the login at least!!

Go into your eqclient.ini file and edit the following:

[VideoMode]
Width=1920
Height=1200
WidthWindowed=1920
HeightWindowed=1080
WindowedWidth=1920
WindowedHeight=1080

My monitor hass 1920x1200 native resolution, and in windowed mode I run at 1920x1080. Set the variables above to your desired resolutions.

Also change the following to match your monitors refresh rate. My monitor is 59Hz:

FullscreenRefreshRate=59
