Game Mechanics: Sand scarabs warp

When you snare sand scarabs with bard lv 54 snare while using lute (must be using lute) they then proceed to warp on top of you rather than moving. Not sure if this is known or classic but probably is known, just couldn't find a thread for it. This was in SRO, not sure if everywhere. Scarabs normally seem to be slower than other mobs so maybe lute enhanced bard snare drops their run speed to some sort of illegal number and causes the issue.
