Dear p99 Forum: So I was looking for a classic experience...
If you came to p1999 looking for a classic experience like me, you played blue because, well, if you are like me you are just a regular player and never expected anything unusual to ever happen, especially not on a 15 year old elf simulator.
One day I was going about my business, and all of a sudden I got invited to go to this "p99 Red server" I knew nothing about, except the players were all smoking hot, and way out of my league. Needless to say, I jumped at the chance. I logged on, and before I could even get my wizard guild newbie robe on, their were two *extremely* high level characters all over me! One of them started giving me plat, which totally blew my mind, but the next thing I knew, the other player opened a trade window and started giving me "the gear I really needed." At this point, I knew I was in heaven, and classic or not I didn't care! But what happened next was beyond my wildest dreams. A *third* extremely high level player came into the mage guild and gave me probably the most amazing sword I have ever had in my life. I swear it was a good four inches longer than the sword some 4 out of 10 druid gave me on Blue. As I sat there afterwards, with memories of all that crazy plat, gear, and that amazing sword still fresh in my mind, I said to myself, "I think I'm gonna like it here!" So that is my improbable story. I came for classic and but I really came for red. Signed Sadre
