Default Human Inny Cleric looking to faction Paineel

Hey all,

I've exhaustively searched the forums and the web, but I wanted to ask three questions.

First, is anyone else planning to faction grind for paineel by killing guards soon? If so, I'd love to tag along. My cleric is too low level to do it by himself atm.

Second, is there any way to gain faction without grinding on NPCs? I notice the cleric guildmaster in Paineel has a quest that gives faction in exchange for fire beetle legs and bat fur...can an inny cleric complete this quest without faction work first? Can he invis turn in until he can? If I was able to borrow an amulet of necropotence, would the faction adjust be enough?

Third, whats the lowest level static spawn on which I can grind faction reliably? The wiki shows this guy ( http://wiki.project1999.com/Ilanics_Skeleton) , but last night i was unable to find him with track on another toon.

Thanks for looking and any advice!

Specifically which faction were you looking to raise?
I just maxxed Deepwater Knights on my paladin. But being an evil cleric I'd guess you're going the opposite direction.

Paineel seems to be the relevant faction, though I can't be certain

Slaughtering the gnolls in Tox should bump your faction up, I'm fairly sure.

They don't - based on what I have read on the forums, that is changed following the opening of the Warrens. At this point there is no Kobold faction and they do not provide positive hits.

I've read that a Kobold Missionary in Steamfont might give positive Paineel hits though, but he's too high a level for my cleric atm

I have killed that skeleton a bunch of times also.
http://wiki.project1999.com/Ilanics_Skeleton
He roams close to the wiz spires & seemed to be always popping that day.
This was a few weeks ago tho; dunno if that matters for any changes recently.

Have you considered conscripting a druid to give you shared wolf form? That might do the trick.

I've read that wolf from is KOS in Paineel, but I haven't personally tried it yet. I'm curious if people have tried Skeleton form or Earth Golem form.

Skeleton form allowed my necro to bank in paineel. So it's worth a shot
