Default Does your graphics card make a difference in P99?

I recently came to this server after the demise of the EQMac server (RIP) and on that codebase we had a bug that no matter how powerful your graphics card, all the screen rendering was done in software on the CPU. Does that issue exist here also? I'm debating Christmas purchases. Thanks in advance.

Hey Tudo!

This client will utilize your graphics card, but since the game is so old it really doesn't make that big of a difference. I play bootcamped on a Macbook Air with Intel 3000 Graphics and the SDD makes the game scream better than my desktop which has a $300 graphics card.

As a heads up, if you didn't know and want to connect with some former EQMac players, there's a community over at takproject.net.
