Default DE illusion faces - Something Ive always wondered

Is there a way to have the dark red eyes with a de illusion? like does it matter what race/class you are when u use DE mask? what face you choose for your default face? Anyone have any idea?

I dont know if it defaults always to the same DE face, but i thought once I saw someone with the dark red darkelf eyes. Coulda just been something I thought i saw tho...

Anyone have any idea?

^ Yeah, old enchanter trick to click "face" first then cast the illusion.
Don't know if anyone else sees it until you zone or whatever though. I do know that it ended up changing your original face.

From what I remember, the face you received as your illusion (base races) was dependent upon your face as your original character.

For example, if you were a barbarian with face 2 by default, clicking a guise of the deceiver would make you a dark elf with face 2.

I have no idea how this currently works. If it's anything like npcs, it is bugged. mobs (mobile objects) do not seem to keep their texture settings when they change forms. Like, chill bones on a fire giant doesn't revert it back to it's original texture. During chill bones texture is 0, and is then changed to 255 when the effect wears of. It should be the previous value of __, prior to the chill bones. I have a thread about this in the developer area.

Also, changing your face with the UI is not classic at all. Disappoint.
