Default Raid Mob Spawn Timer (Remove Variance) Thread

They should be a static 3 or 7 day respawn. There was no Variance in classic.

People will Poopsock on this server no matter what. We have rules in place that prevent tagging with trackers and camping/binding on spawn points. People will just "poopsock" by camping toons at zone in areas (which they already do). There won't be any 200 people logged in poopsocks when the exact timers are known. People don't have to be logged in they can log in just after the mob spawns and compete just fine.

All this change would do is release players from their 16-hour window tracking obligations and their 16 hour camp out obligations.

You will see:
  • More players out playing the game since they aren't hung up with tracking or keeping characters camped out for a full day.
  • More guilds participating in the FFA scene and jumping up to Class C since the primary barrier for most is the huge amount of time required to camp out your mains and to sit staring at a wall.
  • More players beta testing since they will waste less time on the unclassic raid scene here.

It's a win (cause classic), a win (cause more people will compete) and a win (cause more will beta).

Make it so.
