It takes a lot longer than that but it is still fast.

Depends man, I'm level 38 in about 2 hrs played using a druid to plvl myself. With the instant 50 action if you are smart and get a druid to 50, you can get any melee up in less than 5 hours. The buff didn't give you skills either, and it would take you almost that long to max out your skills anyway.

If any people want to join my crew of 2 people we'd plvl your ass a monk or somethin in 1 night.
