Default Ranger: Double mana cost on minor healing

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature I'm unaware of, but when my ranger casts Minor Healing (not high enough for other healing yet) it sometimes costs double the mana. Does anybody happen to know why?

EDIT: Just got Light Healing and it's doing the same thing. I was mistaken thinking it was double, it's occasionally adding 10 mana to the cost (Minor Healing 10 -> 20mana, Light Healing 25 -> 35 mana).

Could the 10 mana be from the client and server re-synching on how much mana you actually have? I've had that before where my side gets confused, and thinks I have more mana than I do (maybe difference in a med tick) and the casting of the spell is when it gets fixed.

I suppose that's possible, but would that explain it doing it 2-3 times in a row? Rarely just happens once. It has that seemingly increased cost for multiple casts then goes back to normal.

I think it's probably a med tick getting confused. It will happen whenever you stand up in the middle of a med tick being processed - the client thinks you got the mana from the tick, then the server's all like OH NO YOU DI'INT and the client apologizes and gives the mana back.
