Default Juntsie Seek Advise of Shaman Regarding Bashing (GATOR BASHING BLUES)

JUNTSIE GOT DEM SLOOOOOW-EXP, LOOOOWBIE SHAMAN, OVER-CAMPED, LD-DROPPING GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATOOOORRR..... BAAAAASSSHHINNG... BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEESSSS SSSSSS.

Dere come a time in every Troll shaman life where realize no longer gud at bashing tings; dis is happening to Juntsie at level 19, after he leave bone tower and go to desert to bash crocs. Juntsie know dat until level 24, Shaman struggle with bashing and making things sick with spell. Juntsie look forward to day where he just have to sit, stand, cough on tings to make them sick, eat himself to get mana, sit, and let dog bite tings. Relaxing.

Until den, Juntsie have problem: bashing not going gud, spell no gud, and often not enuff time to group and bash wit others! Juntsie wonder if dere somewhere better dan crocs for solo - crocs overhunted, and Oasis hot, filled with big things that smash Juntsie becuz people do not pay attention to what they doing!

...So, Juntsie request any advice on level 19 shaman battle strategy for new shaman with banded armor, keg popper, and other gud starter item, but no twink. He welcome level spot suggestions, in addition to crocs. He aware of wise Oracle BlkCamel's guide for bash, but bash spots not help, and guide no discuss 19 bash strategy! Right now, Juntsie root mob, spit on dem to make sick with DOTs, bash, sit down to tink and med, and den bash, and den sit down to tink and med, until mob die. Juntsie bash-jousting?

I've seen your posts around Server Chat and think they're pretty great, and I know from personal experience that low level shamans can be tedious indeed. Hit me up on IRC and I'll power level you to 24 if you'd like. I got a 47 druid that would be the best character (of mine) for the job; at 19-23 his PLing ability isn't that great anymore, but I can tell you it would be a lot faster than trying to solo.

Otherwise, if you do want to solo to 24, I'd suggest the Karanas: EK should be just about ideal for you at this point, level-wise, and is not overcrowded. SK might be a little high but might be worth a shot as well.

Juntsie!

We were supposed to have a griffon bashing party in East Commons for prizes! Don't forget me. [You must be logged in to view images. Also my cleric is around your level if you ever want to start a group. Good luck Juntsie!

It's a bit obvious but the game is not designed to be solo'ed 1 through 60: have you considered grouping? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

As a Druid I understand your dilema. Part of it, good sir Troll, is to simply soldier on. Keep an eye firmly on the future, on your goals and slog through the grind when there isn't time to shine in groups. Or to put it a way your brilliant but less than verbose Troll mind can comprehend:

Troll bash! Troll bash bad now. Troll bash gud later.

Try the derv groups and orc highway on the west wall of oasis.

East Karana is a great solo spot at 19. Between undead or regular gnoll reavers or the wandering animals(gorge hounds and griffawns) there should be many things for your bashing pleasure to comfortably get to level 23. My shaman druid and ranger all soloed til 23 there before moving on

I've found in oasis people are pretty cool with you dropping in and out of the group fairly quickly. Just ask to join the group and be up front with saying you may not be able to stay long.
