Are they a good grouping duo?

Shaman are a top tier solo class. Take what a shaman can do solo and add real CC, insane hp/mana regen, charms, snare, the bard's DoT damage...

It works well, you just have to play to their strengths.

Kind of have to pick your poison with this combo, do you bard or do you shaman? A bard/shaman can duo damn near anything single groupable when geared/played right..

Or the shaman can sit on his butt and regen the bard while he kites a whole zone..

Why even post stupid crap like that here? Regen aint gonna keep up a bard with a zone on him, he'll get instapopped unless you're like under level 20.

Anyways, bard sham is a very hard combo to kill, but lacks DPS severely. Take enchanter / shaman and never look back. It's a duo that isn't particularly strong early because shaman aren't that great until L30+. But once you hit the 40s you can easily duo CoM moat and full clear it for just ridiculous amounts of XP, and almost any other zone you wish to pick. Shaman / melee works but it falls off later when a shaman just simply can't heal as effectively thru the damage coming out, late game charm chaining just destroys anything shaman / x melee can do.

As for bard duos, there aren't really any that truly excel. Bard is a great party enhancer as a possible trio. But that being said if you pair them with a rogue for fear snaring. Or with any class that can shit out damage they'll do ok. Surprisingly bard / enc is very strong. Mezzes don't overlap nicely, but the amount of CC between fear, snare, mez, root, and stuns is just ridiculous. There's also swarming but that's not really great for anything more than solo unless the 2nd person has a PBAOE.
