![]() Nothing really to say other than to get the information out there.
He ran by our royals camp and ninja'd a Painbringer during some chaos, then just left. When confronted, he started speaking in what I can only guess is Vietnamese.

![]() So he looted it before you could destroy it? Painbringer is one of the worst weapons in the entire game, it`s worthless. It exists only to break mez and kill the bard/chanter. Only morons use it past maybe level 10.

![]() This reminds me of this one time I found 1000$ in a ATM, man I sure ninja looted that shit pretty fast.
Someone was stupid that day, guess who it was.

![]() It's situationally useful, a (very) low-rent version of the Blue Two Handed Hammer. It's great for faction-farming, the dmg-delay is pretty solid compared to it's proc equivalents (Obsidian Shard / Kisch / Yak) or non-proc equivalents (EBW / Polished Steel Dirk / Amy Tendril).
Coupled with the fact that its usually given out free compared to (in order) : Rare drop in SolA / Drop in Paw / Rare on Ghoul Lord in GukB / Two Rares deep in Mistmoore Castle / Rare in Qeynos Catacombs / Plane of Fear (lol)..... It's infinitely easier to obtain and usually a rot on top of that. So what exactly was the original flame here? Did you have a warrior in your group who needed it and yet somehow didnt bang out his loot hotkey the second the champ dropped? Did you not have time to camp in your alt and run him from the zone in? Did you not have an enchanter, which would suggest you actually needed a painbringer to make it rain on those kobold hoes? I admit i'm kinda lost here.. It's easy to debate that the item is useful, but it's a lot harder to figure out exactly how this item was ninja-looted.. Either the group getting xp was beyond slack or someone is throwing a tissy fit because they couldn't run their alt down there in time.

![]() As a Bard I really can`t group with anyone who procs an aoe on their weapon unless it`s like a 45+ Royals group because then at least the kobolds are like paper and CC is barely needed. It`s also acceptable if literally every single pull is just 1-2 mobs, but that`s rare. I can see why a level 1 warrior might want it. Any serious warrior who doesn`t want the CC to ragequit shouldn`t use it though.
I`ll concede that since it`s situationally useful, that it`s fine for warriors to keep it in their inventory and only whip it out in groups that for some reason have no crowd control. This is so monumentally rare though that I rest my case that it`s a noob weapon.

![]() I didn`t know that - so once it starts proccing it becomes useless. Still a weapon with procs is better than painbringer I`d think (like tentacle whips, gnoll hide lariats, etc. - all of which are relatively easy to obtain)
