Hi all,

Trying to get into EQ tonight. ;-)

Just following the guide with using the WINE Wrapper to get a clean install of Titanium on my MacBook.

Dug out my EQ Titanium disks and am doing the install right now.

I haven't been on EQ in so many years... Anyone able to show me around when I get on?

my advice:
1) get norrathmap.com if you forgot your way around. it's legal to use and will help you out.

2) hunt around EC. Get a bind in the tunnel, and kill around there. If you can't go to neriak/freeport ask someone to help you out.

Was hoping to get on, was reading about the WINE Wrapper or what not on the wiki to get on from a Mac...

Ends up not working for me, tried multiple times.

I'm debating if I should just install it on my VM or not, or just not play.

Search the threads on EQ mac. There's a small thread that had some settings that needed to be tweaked on the Wine side of things (directx, fonts, etc). Once you do this, it should run just fine. Takes a bit of research in the forums, but it's there. I'd link to it but I'm in a hurry and at work.

If you can't get it going on your Mac, VM it. Honestly, not playing isn't a viable option. Welcome!
