Monk: Must Have/Fun Utility Items

I did a quick search, and didn't notice anything related.

Been playing a young monk alt, had a lvl 70 or so Monk on live. I never got too far involved in him to discover neat utility items. An item to aid with pulls, a greatly useful clicky, maybe something simple that when you think outside-of-the-box it is a wonderful utility. Nothing later than Velious of course.

Genuinely curious. Spew your monk expertise at me!

monks get fd, best utility in the game. as far as items not really. id say fungi haste is the only must haves. nothing i can think of on clickies besides the stand lev cloak, aon, ect.

Ring of Shadows - 3 Charges instant clicky invis
Midnight Mallet - 5 Charges instant clicky slow
Slowstone Amber - 3 Charges instant clicky slow (actually useful for slow)
J-Boots - Unlimited instant clicky 30% Runspeed
Pegasus Feather Cloak - Unlimited 6s clicky levitate
Celestial Fists (Epic) - Unlimited instant clicky 40% haste
Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring - Unlimited instant clicky ATK buff
Bracer of the Hidden - Unlimited instant clicky see invis

Every high end monk should have all of those items bagged at all times. Instant clicky buffs to prevent dispels, levitate and jboots are crucial for pulling. Slow clickies are for either tagging a mob off someone else's pull where a javelin won't get you enough aggro or for soloing hard mobs. Instant invis is extremely useful for everyone. Instant roots make splitting a tough room go much quicker -- doable without, but having root nets helps you speed up certain breaks.

Fungi is also worth mentioning since regen is nice when pulling.

None that are monk usable right now, other classes like rogues get a bracer that summons daggers.

Also all monk specific quested wrists have summon shurikens too.

Coldain factions or PoGrowth wrists are the easiest to obtain.

Those wrists summon a pouch with 3 stacks I think? They are only range 100, which kinda sucks. The wrist linked above summons hammers with only 55 range, which double blows.

Colgate answered on Gobby earring.

Add RotWF. You need it to get the epic, but at this time I think at least the non-haste portion of the buff stacks with epic.

And while not class specific, add fishbone earring or moss mask.

Also add Leatherfoot Raider Cap.

Fingerbone hoop is also a nice sub for bracer of the hidden, but doesn't double as a junk buff.

Come Velious: quest bracer to summon stars, holgresh elder beads.
