Default Advice plz

So I rolled a HE cleric and really love the class. I'm level 15 only and the only thing I hate is my low carry weight. I need to know if it's worth rerolling in favour of dwarf for superior strength and sexy beard?
Is it worth rerolling or will it be better in 10 levels and I need to shuck it out till then? I can't afford to twink it out coz my main is even poorer than this guy :/

weight can be a hassle, destroy copper if it gets to plentiful 1000copper is only 1 plat so its not a big loss. weight becomes less and less of an issue as you level up. there are a lot of WR bags that you will attain down the road that will make it a non issue. and after a certain point you stop looting every single mob and just roll on valuable loots, granted that's like 50+ but your weight limit isn't going to be a permanent issue

My dark elf cleric is still permanently encumbered. This is without focusing on STR gear, having 3 WR bags (65-70% WR bags, not Tinker bags) and always carrying around several heavy clickies and full set of MR gear (usually in aforementioned bags).

http://wiki.project1999.com/Magelo_Blue:Healier

That's my Cleric's magelo. He's a Dark elf but still a low STR cap. He gets STR from Veil (7), Arms (9), Ring (3), and Neck (5). Total of +24.

His gear, which is pretty typical of a raiding cleric weighs only 50. It's what I'm always dragging around with me that weighs a ton.

If I were to invest 15k in 3 Tink bags, I would cease to be encumbered. Which tends to be the situation for most elf clerics.

If this is your main, after you get 50, before investing in twinking an alt, it would be wise to spend 15-20k and get 3-4 Tinker Bags.

Don't reroll. Dwarves are dumb and no one likes them.

Don't reroll if you like High Elf. Superior Cleric race, despite others saying dwarves are best.

Just kind of have to accept you'll be encumbered for a long time. My cleric is 49 and always encumbered. As Daldaen said, once you get high enough for Tinkerer bags, it will become less of an issue.

I'd also suggest if you're up for it trying to make the treck to Karnor's Castle in DL and get yourself some Jarsath Scale rot armor. It's super light weight and some of the pieces are BiS until planes. I was wearing all Bronze until i got a bunch of JS and it helped my weight issue a lot. It's a dangerous run at your level, but people do it at even around level 5. I got some on my cleric at 18.

Do high levels let that stuff rot or something?

dwarves are probably the funnest race to play, the dorfroll.

I had more fun running around dorf rolling than I did doing most other things, and even better there are little tricks you can do with it a lot of people don't know and it fun to surprise them with a show

Yes it rots frequently. It's no drop and only certain classes can use it. It's a common drop.

I have a couple copper pieces I need to replace still. It looks like I might be going on an adventure. Thanks for the tip.

As far as clerics go there's not much to be gained by min/maxing. So pretty much everything is personal preference.

I have 52 dwarf cleric and he's constantly overweight unless strength buffed, and I frequently play a 57 halfling cleric that is constantly overweight too. High elves just get there a little bit quicker, you simply need to spring for the tink bags and be careful how much cash you carry.

If you generally like the high elf, I'd keep it, or if the weight problem really bothers you, you could even reroll the high elf with 10 points of your optional stats added to str.
