Default Giants unmezzable?

This is probably a stupid question, but:

Every giant in WW at the giant fort has resisted my mez. I'm guessing they are immune?

in a recent patch, giants were made unstunnable.. since mez is considered a stun, you will have to use another method to control giants i.e. root/charm/fear/snare

Yes, you can't mezz the giants.

I have a question on top of this, though -- I have been levelling my chanter on the DL yetis. It seems like they can't be stunned either. Can anyone confirm or deny?
