Boridain Coldain Ring 2

Did the whole escort, as I finished and killed the bear, he immediately depsawned. I looted the fur and was trying to fast click it just in case, and he was gone before the bear corpse had faded. Pretty positive this is a glitch, because it was impossible to hand in. Happened 2 hours ago-ish.
