Default I'd like to come back to EQ

I am currently playing the boring Everquest II Extended and thought of EQ1 again and how much I missed it and then I found Project 1999. I actually miss the lands of Kunark playing in the "Overthere" zone and outside of Karnor's Castle.

Before I quit like 80 years ago I had: (I'm pretty sure the cap was 55..cant remember though..it may have been 60)

55 Ogre Warrior
53 Dwarf Cleric
50 Dark Elf Rogue

I was hearing something about that Kunark isn't released in Project 1999 yet...when will that be?

Also I'm thinking of either rolling a new Rogue, a Monk for raid pulling, or maybe an Enchanter. Hopefully see you guys in the game!

We will know more in twenty minutes.

Its a good time to start up [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Kunark is most likely a few months away so plenty of time to get to 50.

Tomfoolery aside, right now is a rather good time to start up because once the expansion hits, all the people who have been keeping silent watch for it on the horizon will come back, and you'll have hundreds of other freshly spawned Iksar and the like to contend with.

Find what you like, make yourself comfortable, and give it a go.

I would guess Kunark is 18 months away (2012). Unless the team is making zounds of progress on it without telling us. BTW, the level cap was 50 for old world; then 60 for kunark; then 65 for POP, then 70 for OOW, etc.. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

You are one day behind me... same story as you, I was playing EQ2-Extended, realized I was thoroughly bored...

I went on the MMORPG forums to bitch about EQ2 and some thread had a link to Project 1999.

I got it DL'd, up and running, last night [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I left EQ2 about a month or so ago and found out about EQMU, and specifically P99. Been having a blast so far.

PoSky was just released and the developers are on a volunteer basis so Kunark probably won't happen for a bit, but the Classic EQ experience they have built is awesome.
