Mouse look speed

I've recently been having problems with mouse look. I like to steer my character with the mouse but something has changed. I have set the pointer speed on desktop to max, and also in game.

I use a trackball, and I can spin it around 2 revolutions and it will only turn my guy about 10 degrees.

Any suggestion how to make it more sensitive?
