Question Crafting Question

So me and my daughter started from scratch, we plan to do it the hard way. We want to start crafting early (Patchwork Armor and progress from there) Is there a classic EQ crafting guide anywhere online? We are in Neriak and need to know which NPC's to visit etc etc .... it's been a while lol

Your question is a little vauge. I'm assuming you wanna level tailoring? Here's my guide from wiki:

Tailoring Leveling Guide (Pre-Velious)
  • 1-15 -- Silk Swatches
  • 15-36 -- Raw Silk Masks
  • 36-82 -- Cured Silk Masks
  • 82-88 -- Hand Made Backpacks
  • 88-108 -- Reinforced Armor
  • 108-115 -- Tailored Quivers
  • 115-222 -- Fleeting Quivers (Non-Cultural)
Wood Elf Cultural
  • 115-215 -- Mithril Reinforced Masks
  • 215-228 -- Imbued Mithril Reinforced Masks
Halfling Cultural
  • 115-215 -- Vale Reinforced Masks
  • 215-228 -- Imbued Vale Reinforced Masks

And to elaborate a little on that trivial progression.. you need a ton of spider silks. Spider silks drop by the ton in EK, off of crag spiders. For cured silk you need to train your brewing in order to craft the heady kiolas used in the combine. Backpacks are a farm bear / buy in EC type of thing. Reinforced armors, you might have really good luck with buying pelts from vendors in a certain zone... That combine also requires a bit of smithing. Quivers suck, fleeting or otherwise!

The progression becomes a bit easier in Velious if you can hold off. There's recipes to take everyone to 158 then. Otherwise, the only people who can reasonably obtain high tailoring levels atm (after a ton of expense and time) are wood elves and halfling.

example: I was going to craft Patchwork for my Cleric and my daughters SK. I saw the guides and what it said needed to be combined such as a Ruined Wolf Pelt + a Tunic Pattern. ok so where are these Tunic Patterns located? I went to Allakazam and searched it all up but cannot find any Neriak merchants listed anywhere that sell these patterns. Thats what I was asking about.
