necro vs ench

I have a level 16 necro right now and I am wondering if I should switch over to enchanter. I usually only have time to solo or duo, but the enchanters I have duoed with were pretty good. I dig how they can lull, mez and charm almost anything. And it looks like enchanters make more coin through item sales and charging people for clarity.

I like to solo, but I also like to group and not feel useless. Necro dots take to long, necro heals at 20 don't look to good, and my pet just punches stuff while cackling.

Does anyone have suggestions as to why one class would be better than the other to play?
