Default Everything was working fine then...

...I was playing and everything was working fine then I went to the grocery store, came back, booted up the game, and now after I choose my server I get an error message that says...

"The instruction at 0x02a41c6b referenced memory at 0x00000018. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program"

Which clicking ok obviously...terminates the program on.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Kaernot

Check the tech forum for a guide on how to run the game on 1 processor.

try to restart your computer, I ran into the message the other day and I'm pretty sure it's because my windows 7 computer is going to sleep mode and it's screwing with something, probably the gpu drivers.

I received similar messages when starting the game up on a windows 8 box. I believe it has something to do with the game not dealing with multi core processors very well. WinEQ fixed it for me. Duxa's all in one ui installer also includes a fix. I think they are both linked in the setup guide on the top left of the home page of these forums. Hope that helps.
