Decent low end/ low cost gear?

Time to ask another piece of advice for my mage (lvl 12).

I've been trying to save up all the cash I can, but I've been spending most of it on spells. Figured those are the most important items to get [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I've been killing wisps, bears, etc to try to get items to sell and I've made a little money.

Right now I have about 250p I can spend on gear, but have no clue what to get. Currently I'm running around in cloth armor looted off mobs, so I'm not even sure which slot I should work on first.
