 | giving weapons to pets? I played a non-pet class to 65 until pop before I quit, and never really figured out the whole deal with giving weapons to pets. Would someone be kind enough to link an article or explain the benefits/ how giving weapons to pets enhances dps? I'm planning to roll an enchanter on p1999... not sure if this changes the rules vs. necro or mage pets. Thanks | ||

 | :P Not sure about the effects of the weapons, really. Here are some observations, however. If you give skeleton pets weapons with a proc (like the velium weapons) they will proc if the skeleton is the right level. If the skeleton is under lvl 16 then they need a magic weapon to hurt enchanted creatures (ghouls, mummie, wisps...). | ||

 | note, skeletons needs to be about level 12 to do magic damage without weapons | ||

 | For all practical purposes, there is only an effect if there's a proc
