After level 20 and the damage cap comes off, a 2H weapon is good for when your soloing.

Armour wise bronze is a good starter but is heavy. A lot of high HP items is a good start.

You can literally find out everything you need to know with a simple search here and the wiki. Do people not know how to utilize the search function?

Maybe he wanted the community's input rather than a wiki page. Fuck him right?

I wouldn't say he shouldn't post, but the class forum may be a better place for this type of question.

Paladin equipment tends to be cheap (aside from haste items) because there aren't many Paladins. Deepwater armor and Paladin-only weapons with good ratios are quite affordable to a Paladin by the time he's in his 30's if not sooner.

I think you misunderstood, there are literally 10+ threads on these forums with this exact same question. Do you even read?

To the OP. You are probably better to go to the Tanks Forum. Most people on this forum are old timers with lots of plat to twink toons. So hard for us to just suggest starting things for characters. We have NO idea how much plat you have and what is your playing style.

And like it has been said, just do some searching on here and Google. Welcome aboard.

1hander till level 20. Then 2hander. You will probably never make it to 20 on a Paladin so I wouldn't worry about it lol.

Instead of making a condescending post to someone asking a question in Server Chat, you could direct them to the wiki or the class forums, or politely suggest they use the search function.

There has been entirely too much of this attitude in Server Chat lately. I understand, and agree with, the sentiment that people should try to find this information on their own before making a thread, but that doesn't mean we should be rude about it.

OP, you can find the class page for paladin on the wiki here. This link will take you directly to the pre-planar suggested gear options for a Paladin. The wiki has a wide range of tools for selecting class equipment, including a rough pricing guide, full list of equipment (sortable by class, slot, etc), and stats.

There are also class forums where you may be able to hammer out a more specific gear plan for your character. Good luck! Paladin is a tough class that can be very rewarding if you stick it out.
