So what did Velious bring?

I remember when I started EverQuest, I started with Kunark and when Velious came out, I didn't know much except that it was mainly level 30+ because I was about...12 or 13 hah, all I knew was "cool, ice place."

So what all did Velious bring? Guildmates have said it brought back hybrids and such, taking away exp penalties, making them better to group with and such. Other than that, I have almost no clue what goodies it brought, except for Velious itself.
